to create mental health awareness and alleviate the stigma associated with mental illnesses.
At our centre, we have developed multiple Psychiatric Speciality Clinics where we deal with Women &Geriatric
mental health problems, Substance and Behavioural addictions.We also have a special clinic for treating Child &
Adolescent Mental health problems, as the majority of mental illnesses develop before the age of 14 years and we
intend at discerning them at an early stage for quicker recovery with the help of this clinic. As per recent data,
suicide is emerging as the second leading cause of death between 15-29 yrs and, therefore, we have started special
clinic for Suicide prevention.
Under a single roof, we have established exclusive investigation facilities for thorough evaluation of psychiatric patients that include Psychological tests, EEG, Sleep lab, Pathology lab(drug level monitoring like Sr. Lithium , Valproate levels),screening for substance abuse,X-ray, CT scan, ECG, & USG.
Our establishment offers the latest treatment modalities in the field of psychiatry encompassing rTMS which stimulates specific areas in the brain through electromagnetic waves; the biofeedback machine which provides feedback to the patient allowing them to voluntarily control their autonomic nervous system. Ketamine therapy for treatment-resistant depression, ECT, Yoga therapy for anxiety, depression and various other psychiatric illnesses.
In view of the escalating problems of substance use, we have created de-addiction facilities for patients, where we offer a wide range of options including Drug screening, Alcohol challenge test, Aversion therapy, Naltrexone and Disulfiram implants, Nicotine replacement therapy, MBT, MET sessions and rTMS.
We are providing a platform for teaching and hands-on training for Medical Officers, Nurses and other health professionals in the field of Mental Health. This centre will also provide stress management, skill development and mental health awarenessprograms for other professionals working in private and government sectors. Also, we willbe organising various outreach programs for school and college students.
Taking into account the overbearing expenses of treating mental illnesses, we have made an extra effort to deliver treatment facilities at minimal cost to our patients, meanwhile, offering concessional services to patients below the poverty line. Our centre is in association with BNPC Nursing Home that provides in-patient and emergency services toacutely ill mental patients and also has facilities for De-Addiction. This Centre is established as per the latest norms of the MHCA 2017.
